There are many directories on the Web, yet there are few things that set us aside. We ARE selective. We are not aiming for quantity, but rather for QUALITY of our links. We carefully evaluate every site submitted and use our best judgement to decide if it belongs in the directory. We stick to our genres, so please don't ask us to list heavy metal or rap sites.

In short, allSynthpop.com Music Directory is NOT a community site like MySpace or Soundclick where you register and get your own profile page to maintain. We are more like a Wiki or a community directory where the information can be submitted by anyone and can be updated and corrected by anybody. That is, once your site is published anyone (including yourself) can submit corrections and updates. We do, however, screen and preview all submission before publishing to prevent spamming, abuse, and to thwart the most obvious errors and typos.

OPTIONALLY, you can register and that allows you to post in the forums, write blogs, post reviews, contact other members, and so on. You do get a personal profile page when you register (so other members would know who you are) but it is NOT a directory listing!

We are truly thankfull for every submission but we are picky. We don't want this directory to become a pile of junk useless to anybody. We DO visit the sites submitted to the directory, we DO listen to your music, and we DO look at the links, bios, and other information. Once a site is added to the directory, we notify the site owner / webmaster to make sure the information is accurate and no copyrights are violated.
